Thin vertical black lines on Fax transmissions
If so, try this: Make a copy on your fax machine of a page you are transmitting. If your copy does NOT have any vertical lines, it is the Receiver's Machine. If you copy has one or a series of thin black lines, it is the Sending (your) fax machine. You can solve this problem very quickly and easily. Clean the document scanning area (a small, thin glass strip, * inch wide, located in the original paper path) with a dry cloth. Cleaning this glass strip should eliminate your problem. Out of Paper
A pharmacy in a large hospital uses a Panasonic UF-788 plain paper, laser fax with two paper drawers and additional memory for transmitting and receiving. They are extremely happy with its ease of use and the auto collation of incoming faxes.
PROBLEM: Due to the noise and activity in the pharmacy, the out of paper alarm and indicator light would often go unnoticed. Incoming documents would go into memory and eventually overflow.
SOLUTION: Put 15-20 pink (or any color) sheets in the bottom of each paper drawer. When someone received a prescription on the "pink" paper, it was time to restock the paper drawers. (This can be used, not only for your fax, but your copier too!)

Error codes on your copier
Most error codes on your copier can be reset easily. TRY THIS: open and close the front door of the copier OR turn the power switch on and off. One of these two could reset your copier and clear the error code. If for some reason, it does not clear, please contact our service department to place a service call.

“Paper Pirates” and “Toner Phoners”
Beware of phone calls from "PAPER PIRATES" And "TONER PHONERS" offering your business "special" pricing on supplies for your copier and FAX machine. These "special deals" can cost your business as much as 10 times the actual price. These phone solicitors misrepresent themselves as local companies or national suppliers. If you have any questions concerning "toner phoners," please call us. And remember to reorder from BRDP when you replace your last supply item.

Changing Toner
When changing the toner on any copier model, it is best to lay a paper towel or several sheets of paper on the front door. It will catch any residual toner that may fall down while removing the toner bottle or cartridge. This is mainly a preventative step that will prevent toner from falling into the machine and can possibly prevent future service needs.

The cold weather is here! Your copier will have static. Static on the glass and the auto document feeder can cause skewing and misfeeds. Using an antistatic spray will eliminate the problem. Contact us for your can of antistatic spray today.
